Professor Adriana Neske from Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy, San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina is visiting Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, Rajasthan, India. Dr Adriana Neske and Dr. K. L. Ameta are jointly working on a project titled “Applications of Bioactive heterocycles in drug discovery: Pharmacological significance of some synthetic and natural heterocycles scaffold” funded by DST India and MYNCIT Argentina. Prof Neske will be in India for the said visit for 15 days (December 4th to December 18th 2016). During this visit she will deliver a seminar and share her research experiences with Mody University students, researchers and faculty members.

Professor Amit Mukherjee, HOD, Chemistry Department, CASH, is invited as a speaker at "International Conference on Catalysis and Chemical Engineering" (CCE-2017) scheduled in Baltimore, USA during February 22-24, 2017. The conference aims to discuss "Advances and Challenges in Applied Catalysis".

Ms Poornina Saraswat, Research scholar in biosciences under Dr. R.K Gaur's supervision has received the international TWAS award. They have selected only two awardees from the third world countries.

Ms. Shellina Khan, Research Scholar under the supervision of Dr. Navneet Joshi, (Dept. of Biosciences, Mody University) was awarded APSI Excellent Poster Presentation Award 2016 entitled "Microbial technology for the Phytoremediation of textile Effluents" held at JNV University, Jodhpur on 19 Nov 2016.​ She is presently working with Dr Navneet Joshi of the Biosciences group.

Ms Divya Yadav of  B.Sc. III year  (PCM) student  of College of Arts, Science and Humanities, participated in Asian Cup Karate Championship 2016 (organized under the supervision of International Karate Union) and won Gold Medal in the Senior Category. This competition was organized from 28th November 2016 to 30th November 2016 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. Ms. Divya represented India under the guidance of Mr. Praveen Gehlot, the honourable president of Youth Karate Association of Haryana.

Ms. Roopam Bisnoi, B. Sc.first Year has been selected in National Initiative on Undergraduate Science (NIUS)- a program for undergraduate students designed to provide extended nurture and guidance in different disciplines of science. In this programme, students attend multiple camps organized at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), TIFR, Mumbai. The student was guided through the process by Prof A.K. Das.
