To expand the global opportunities to women students, Mody University has forged more than 20 international collaborations with renowned foreign universities – Universite de Nantes, France, Ecole Des Mines de Nantes, France, Stony Brook University (USA), University of Missouri (USA), University of North Texas (USA) and Florida International University (USA) – to name a few. Many of our students are regularly selected for paid internships and research fellowships by noted foreign institutes. For example, 04 students won the prestigious summer internship at CERN (European Centre for Nuclear Research), Geneva, Switzerland, 01 student selected for full time fellowship at GSI, Germany, 02 students from Nuclear Technology went to Ecole de Nantes, France for one year internship. Last year 12 students of B.Tech went to France & USA for summer internship and 2 students of M.Tech were selected for training in Nuclear Security for one month in USA with all expenses paid including travel. Next summer, we are planning to send about 25 students abroad for internships. The GE foundation, USA (JFWTC) had offered four scholarships to our B.Tech. students. Academic leaders and researchers from the international institutions regularly visit Mody University.

Mody University is the first Women University which is having International Collaborations with France, Germany, USA, Canada and Switzerland. This year we are sending 37 students to the above countries in various disciplines of CET, COBMEC and CLG. The number from CET is largest with 30 students, since this has the largest number of students.
Prof. R. K. Shivpuri
Prof. R.K. Shivpuri is associated as Director, International Relations and Professor at Mody University. He is also Founder Director, Centre for Detector and Software Technology, University of Delhi and has been Chairperson, M.Tech. Committee on Nuclear Science and Technology, University of Delhi. In the last few years, he has been a moving force in starting the Nuclear Technology Course in several Universities such as University of Delhi etc. He has been Principal Investigator of several International Research Projects including FermilabDzero Collider Experiment, USA and Search for New Particles at the Large Hadron Collider, CERN, Geneva, Switzerland with total grants over Rs. 15 Crores till now. He has been associated with the two greatest discoveries of particle physics in last fifty years- Top Quark in 1995 and Higgs Boson (God Particle) in 2012.
He started the collaboration of Mody University with several Universities in France, Germany, Switzerland etc. Consequently, several students from Mody University are regularly going to Germany, Switzerland & France.
