1. School of Law Shines at Vidhi Utsav 2026, UPES Dehradun

The School of Law is pleased to report that its students participated in Vidhi Utsav 2026, conducted by UPES Dehradun on 10th to 12th April and won multiple accolades. Ms. Siddhi and Himanshi(1s Year) secured 1st Runner-Up position in Policy Making Competition, Ms. Kritika and Ms. Ayushi (2nd Year) secured 2nd Runner-Up position in the Sports Law Quiz Competition.

2. School of Law Celebrates Success in Judicial Services Examinations 2025

The School of Law takes immense pride in announcing that two of its students have successfully qualified for prestigious judicial services examinations, reflecting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and rigorous legal training. Ms. Ayushi Bhardwaj has qualified the Gujarat Judicial Services Examination, 2025, securing an impressive All India Rank of 65, while Ms.Laxmi has qualified the Rajasthan Judicial Services Examination, 2025, with a commendable Rank of 16. These outstanding achievements are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the quality of legal education imparted at the School of Law. The entire faculty and administration extend their heartfelt congratulations to both students and wish them continued success in their judicial careers ahead.

4. Moot Court Competition Award

We are happy to report that the third-year students from the School of Law took part in the 2nd Dr. S. Juniwal International Moot Court Competition, which took place from March 15–18, 2024. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to demonstrate both their reasoning and arguing abilities. Sanover Kaur Gill, one of our researchers, was recognised for her diligence and proficiency in legal research when she was named Best Researcher. The students learned a lot from the judges’ helpful criticism, which we will carefully apply to their next projects. It also helped them identify areas for improvement. They are appreciative of the chance to show off their abilities and distinguishedly represent Mody University of science and Technology.

5. Institutional Excellence Award-2016

The School of Law was adjudged the best in India and given an award ‘Institutional Excellence Award-2016’ by the Society of India Law Firms and Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training, New Delhi.

Award was given by the Hon’ble Justice H. Chelmeshwar, Judge of the Supreme Court of India on Sept. 3, 2016.

6. Our student –

Ms. Preeta Dhanker was declared ‘Best Speaker’ in an International Moot Court Competition in Nov. 2016. The Competition was organized by the Commonwealth Legal Education Association-Asia-India held at Chennai.

7. Winner of All India Moot-Court Competiton-2021

Organized by The Prestige Institute of Management & Research, , Padme Shri S.S. Jain Law College, Indore. (Nov. 30-Dec.2, 2021). Lovely Bandil and Pallavi Pareek as speakers and Priya Vandan as Best Researcher.
