A District and Sessions Court visit in Sikar was organized by the School of Law for the law students. During the visit, the students were divided into smaller groups to observe various civil and criminal proceedings. The Hon’ble District and Sessions Judge also interacted with the students, offering valuable insights into the legal profession.
The visit provided students with practical exposure to courtroom procedures, enhancing their understanding of both civil and criminal law, and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and actual court proceedings. Students had the opportunity to observe courtroom etiquette and protocol, the roles of different legal professionals, and the judicial decision-making process. They also gained valuable insights into legal arguments and advocacy skills, while understanding the procedural aspects of case management. Additionally, the visit emphasized the importance of legal ethics, professionalism, and public access to justice.
By witnessing real-time court proceedings, students developed a deeper appreciation for the functioning of the legal system and were better prepared for their future careers in law.
