Mody University is covered under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. Additionally, the University has been granted UGC 12(B) status, affirming its compliance with the norms and standards set by the University Grants Commission. UGC-Proforma for submission of information by State Private Universities for ascertaining their norms and standards.
Approval by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
AICTE is a Statutory body under Ministry of HRD, Government of India, New Delhi for granting approval to conduct technical courses. The courses offered by the School of Engineering and Technology and School of Business are duly approved by AICTE.
The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)
The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, responsible for granting approval to institutions offering Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) courses. The courses offered by the School of Pharmacy are duly approved by the PCI.

Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, Sikar (Rajasthan) has been recognised and certified as member of Association of Indian Universities at the (AIU) at its 363rd Governing Council Meeting held on June 30, 2021 considered the application of Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, Rajasthan for grant of membership of AIU and resolved to grant the same with effect from June 18, 2021 (Date of UGC letter) and placed it in the West Zone.
