Dr. Gourav Singh Hits Research Milestone in Nature

The School of Pharmacy (SOP) is proud to announce a significant milestone in medical research. A research article authored by Dr. Gourav Singh, Assistant Professor (SOP), has been accepted for publication in Nature Communications, one of the world’s most prestigious scientific journals with an Impact Factor of ~16.6.

The article, titled “Discovery of NIRF theranostic probes targeting amyloid-β and cholinesterases in Alzheimer’s disease models,” details the development of novel probes that could revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. These “theranostic” probes serve a dual function: they can simultaneously diagnose the condition (by targeting amyloid-β and cholinesterases) and deliver therapeutic treatment.

Global Recognition Publication in Nature Communications represents a high distinction in the scientific community. This achievement highlights the university’s commitment to cutting-edge research and significantly elevates our institutional standing on the global academic stage.
