Dr. Abhiram Dwivedi is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Mody University of Science and Technology. He holds a Ph.D in Sociology from the Department of Sociology at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, where he was awarded both the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by the University Grants Commission. He completed his M.A. in Sociology from Jamia Millia Islamia and earned his B.A. (Hons.) in German Language and Literature from Banaras Hindu University.

With nearly eight years of teaching and academic experience at several reputed private and deemed universities across India, including Raffles University, Amity University, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and SRM University, Dr. Dwivedi brings a strong interdisciplinary engagement between sociology and law to his research and teaching practice.

Dr. Dwivedi's research interests broadly include sociology of law, social anthropology, sociology of modernisation and development, social philosophy, and gender studies. His scholarly work focuses on the intersection of social structures, legal institutions, and socio-cultural transformations in contemporary society.

He actively presents research papers at national and international conferences and seminars, and regularly participates in academic workshops and faculty development programmes focusing on socio-legal and interdisciplinary research methodologies. He is a life member of the Indian Sociological Society. His academic engagement reflects a sustained commitment to advancing socio-legal scholarship and promoting critical sociological inquiry into contemporary social issues.
