Dr. Jeetu Sharma is an accomplished academician with over 19 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Her research interests span emerging and interdisciplinary domains including Wireless Sensor Networks, Cognitive Wireless Sensor Networks, ZigBee, IEEE 802.15.4, and Smart Grid.

Beyond research and teaching, she is actively engaged in academic governance and quality assurance as IQAC Coordinator, contributing significantly to university accreditation and quality initiatives including NAAC, QS I-Gauge, and ABET. She is the SPOC for the NPTEL Local Chapter at Mody University and has conducted an AICTE-sponsored ATAL FDP, a NAAC-sponsored National Seminar, and an IEEE-supported national workshop in association with C-DAC.

She serves as Counsellor of the IEEE student branch and as an Executive Committee member of the IEEE Rajasthan Sub-section (2026). She has previously served as a SAC member of the IEEE Delhi Section (2022–2024) and has received more than US $3,000 in grants and funds from IEEE, NAAC, and AICTE for various activities. Her awards include the Best Counsellor Award, Honorary Award, Best IEEE Student Branch Award, and the Exemplary Branch Award from IEEE Delhi Section and IEEE SAC. She also holds a world-renowned 200-hour, four-week TTC Certificate in Classical Yoga, accredited by Yoga Alliance and AYUSH, from Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram, Kerala.

She has also authored one book, contributed one book chapter, and holds two patents, one granted and one publishedreflecting her commitment to innovation and knowledge creation. She received a Best Paper Award from Springer in 2019.
