Education

  • Ph.D. Physics, Department of Physics, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, Rajasthan
  • M.Sc. Physics, Department of Physics, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, Rajasthan
  • B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), University of Rajasthan, Rajasthan

Research

Dr. Bhamu's research focuses on first-principles simulations combined with AI-integrated frameworks to design and optimise next-generation energy materials. His work explores hydrogenation and dehydrogenation mechanisms in Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers (LOHCs) and advanced catalyst design using core-shell nanostructures, MXenes, high-entropy alloys, and single-atom catalysts.

He investigates electrocatalytic and photocatalytic processes, including CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR), nitrogen reduction reaction (N2RR), ammonia oxidation reaction (AOR), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). His research further extends to energy storage systems such as metal-ion batteries, lithium-sulphur (Li-S) batteries and supercapacitors, CO2 capture and conversion, thermoelectric transport engineering, and optoelectronic materials for solar energy applications.
