Dr. Meha Khiria is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Mody University of Science and Technology. She holds a Ph.D in Law and specialises in Criminal Law, women’s rights, and child rights. With over five years of teaching experience, she has published 12 research works, including Scopus-indexed book chapters.

Her academic work is driven by a commitment to advancing gender justice and strengthening legal protections for vulnerable groups. Her core teaching subjects include Law of Torts, Law of Contract, and Criminal Law.

Her work explores gender equality, child protection, guardianship, inheritance, and the evolving role of the state in regulating family relationships.

She is particularly inclined towards analytical and reform-oriented research that identifies gaps in existing laws and proposes measures to strengthen legal protections. Through her research, she aims to contribute to policy discussions and academic scholarship that promote dignity, equity, and the best interests of women and children in society.
