Dr. Mukul Kant Paliwal is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 15 years of teaching and research experience in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Mody University of Science and Technology, with doctoral research focused on the design, analysis, and development of photovoltaic cooling systems using nanofluids.

He actively teaches core subjects including Machine Design, Theory of Machines, Mechanical Vibrations, and Heat and Mass Transfer. He has successfully guided numerous undergraduate projects and has been associated with a DST-sponsored research project. Dr. Paliwal also contributes to academic leadership through conference organisation, faculty development programmes, and interdisciplinary research collaborations.

In addition to his academic responsibilities, he serves as the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Coordinator, leading community engagement and health awareness initiatives, and as the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) Innovation Coordinator, promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among students.

Dr. Paliwal has published more than 21 research papers in reputed SCI/SCIE/Scopus-indexed journals and contributed several book chapters with international publishers. He has authored a textbook titled Machine Design-I (Pearson Education), which supports engineering education by strengthening fundamental design concepts among undergraduate students.

He has been associated with a DST-sponsored research project titled "Industry 4.0 Success Factors and Challenges: An Empirical Study of Indian Manufacturing Industries (Post-COVID-19 Scenario)," with a sanctioned grant of ₹2.54 lakhs. His research contributions span renewable energy systems, photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) technologies, nanofluids for thermal management, and emerging applications of Artificial Intelligence in energy and manufacturing domains.

Dr. Paliwal has also served as Organising Secretary of an International Conference, demonstrating his capability in academic coordination and research networking.
