Dr. Shailesh Pratap Singh is an Assistant Professor in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Mody University of Science and Technology. His academic interests span Indian English Literature, Memory Studies, Translation Studies, and Anglo-Indian narratives. He completed his Ph.D. in English Literature from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

His research engages with questions of memory, identity, and cultural transformation, with a particular focus on the works of Irwin Allan Sealy and their representation of Anglo-Indian experiences in contemporary Indian literature.

His current research explores intersections of memory studies, ecological consciousness, Translation Studies, and cultural history particularly in texts that reflect colonial legacies and contemporary Indian realities.
