Dr. Jain's research focuses on the application of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data mining techniques in healthcare analytics. His doctoral research, titled "Predictive Modelling Approach for Breast Cancer Detection Using Machine Learning," explored advanced classification and feature selection methods to improve the accuracy of early cancer detection systems. His work emphasises predictive modelling for disease diagnosis including breast cancer, cervical cancer, and Type-2 diabetes using ensemble learning, clustering, and neural network approaches.

He has published several research papers in Scopus and ESCI-indexed journals and IEEE conferences, contributing to areas such as medical decision support systems, AI adoption in industry, and IoT-enabled healthcare monitoring systems. Dr. Jain also holds a published patent for an IoT and blockchain-enabled portable device for monitoring the location and health of animals.
