Mr. Abhay Dwivedi is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Mody University of Science and Technology. He holds an LL.M. in IPR and Business Laws from the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, an LL.B. from the University of Lucknow, and a B.Tech. from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).

A B.Tech. Gold Medalist, he further distinguished himself during his LL.B. by earning the Chancellor’s Bronze Medal and eight Gold Medals. He is a registered Patent Agent with the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM). Prior to his academic career, he worked as a Patents Associate at two leading Tier-1 IP law firms – Saikrishna and Associates, and LexOrbis.

Mr. Dwivedi's research bridges Intellectual Property Rights and emerging technologies, with a core focus on Patents Law and the intersection of Technology and Law. Specialising in IPR, Business Law, and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), his work explores software patentability, cyberspace regulation, and the techno-legal dimensions of innovations and designs.
