Dr. Amit Kumar Srivastava is a Lecturer in the Department of Foreign Languages at Mody University of Science and Technology with over twenty years of experience in teaching and research in French language and literature. He gained international teaching experience in France, where he served as an English Assistant (Assistant d’anglais) under the Ministry of Education, France, for one academic session.

His research interests include Francophone African literature, gender and women’s studies, and postcolonial studies.

Dr. Srivastava's research focuses on Francophone African literature with particular attention to gender and women's studies within postcolonial contexts. His work examines representations of identity, patriarchy, and social transformation in African narratives, while engaging with broader debates in literary criticism, translation, and foreign language pedagogy.
