Mr. Rishi Kumar holds undergraduate, postgraduate, and M.Phil. degrees in Spanish from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and is UGC-NET qualified. He has been serving as Assistant Professor of Spanish at Mody University since 2011, teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language to students for over 15 years. He has also served as Visiting Faculty at IIM Indore.

His academic interests include Spanish language and literature, Translation Studies, and comparative studies involving Spanish and Hindi language and grammar.

His work also investigates how grammatical differences shape translation strategies and influence meaning transfer, contributing to improved translation pedagogy, bilingual lexicography, and cross-cultural communication.
