Mody University Faculty to visit St. Petersburg State University, Russia

Lakshmangarh, Rajasthan – Mody University of Science and Technology (MUST) continues to strengthen its global academic footprint through an active faculty and student exchange programme with St. Petersburg State University, Russia, one of the most prestigious and internationally renowned universities in the Russian Federation.

As part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions, four faculty members from Mody University will visit St. Petersburg State University during the Spring Semester 2026 for teaching and research engagements. The selected faculty members, representing diverse academic disciplines, are:

• Dr. Rajarshi Chakraborty, School of Law (SOL)
• Dr. Rachit Srivastava, School of Liberal Arts & Sciences (SLAS)
• Dr. Nongmaithem Robin Singh, School of Liberal Arts & Sciences (SLAS)
• Ar. Smriti Saraswat, School of Design (SOD)

In addition to the faculty exchange, five students from Mody University have also been nominated and accepted by St. Petersburg State University to pursue a Russian Language course, reinforcing the University’s emphasis on language learning and cultural immersion as integral components of international education.

Further strengthening this bilateral collaboration, two faculty members from St. Petersburg State University are expected to visit Mody University later this year, paving the way for enhanced academic cooperation, joint research initiatives, and long-term institutional collaboration.
