The Social Club ‘SAMAJ’ (Social Activities with a Mission Aimed at Joy), which is one of the Students’ Clubs of Mody University, Laxmangarh, has celebrated Children’s Day at Bal Sewa Sadan, a 100% charity based school of Laxmangarh on November 14, 2019.
The members of SAMAJ club organized a number of activities for the kids of Bal Sewa Sadan, which included Poem Recitation Competition, Water Relay Race, Lemon-spoon Race, Bounce-off, Tambola with Alphabets, Drawing Competition, Statue Dance etc., which was followed by cake cutting ceremony. Activities were planned in such a way, that all the kids were provided an
opportunity to participate in the maximum possible activities.
While felicitating the kids for their performances in the various activities, Dr. Surendra Rajpurohit, Coordinator of SAMAJ Club appreciated the efforts put in by each one of them. The focus of entire event was more on inculcating the spirit of participation and less on deciding winners, and therefore, prizes were given to all the kids for their participation. Apart from a number of prizes and gifts, all the kids were given stationery and woolen items. Moreover, a number of sports items like Carrom Board, Badminton Racquets etc. were gifted to the school.
This event, which was full of energy, fun, learning and excitements, was enjoyed thoroughly not only by the kids of Bal Sewa Sadan, but also by all the student members of SAMAJ Club of Mody University.
