School of Law, Mody University Laxmangarh organised a National Seminar on ‘All Women rights are Human rights-myth or reality’ in which sixty participants including teachers, research scholars and students from around twenty premier Law institutions of the country presented their paper. The program was started with Lighting of Lamp with Maa Saraswati Vandana and was followed by introduction of seminar theme by Prof. (Dr.) S.C. Shastri (Dean, School of Law, MUST). Prof. P.K. Dashora (President, MUST) gave a brief introduction of the University and Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Mathur (Director, MUST) welcomed all the guests.

The Chief guest of the program was Ms. Jyotika Kalra, First Woman Member; National Human Rights Commission and Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India. In her inaugural speech she talked about the need of reviewing the law as we could not achieve the desired success in the field of human rights aspects relating to women. Honorable Justice V.S. Dave, Former Chairman, State Law Commission, Jaipur was invited as special guest.
