Day 1 – 4th August 2025

The School of Design warmly welcomed the new batch with ‘Know Your Department’. The
session began with an introduction to the entire Team, followed by an overview of the
Academic Structure to give students a clear understanding of their curriculum and upcoming
journey. To break the ice, a lively interaction activity was conducted, helping students
connect with each other and build the first bonds of friendship within the campus
community.

Day 2 – 5th August 2025

The day started with ‘Movie Mahotsav’, where design-related films were screened to
inspire fresh perspectives and highlight the role of design in everyday life. This immersive
cinematic experience encouraged students to think creatively and observe the design world
around them with a new lens.
In the afternoon, students participated in the ‘Impressions Casting Workshop’, a creative
hands-on session where they captured memories in artistic forms. The workshop
encouraged self-expression and teamwork, leaving participants with both tangible creations
and cherished moments.

Day 3 – 6th August 2025

The morning began with a screening of culturally rich documentaries — ‘Tana Bana I, Tana
Bana II, and Tanko Bole Che’ — each weaving together the colorful tapestry of India’s craft
traditions and showcasing India’s vibrant craft traditions, the intricate skills of artisans, and
the importance of preserving heritage.
The afternoon brought the grand finale — the Talent Show. Students took the stage with
performances in music, singing, dance, poetry, modeling, and more. The energy, applause,
and enthusiasm set the perfect tone for the semester ahead, fostering a sense of belonging
and celebration within the School of Design family.
